This game is a mistake. I used to play in old good one Operation Flashpoint from Bohemia Interactive but his is big mistake. Depleted counterpart of cool game. One mission makes me angry: United We Stand. The reason why you cant finish united we stand is because you are being over run by the PLA. You need to set up a perimeter far out beyond the village and delay the PLA forces as they appear on the ridges on the hillsides around the village. You need to be telling your fireteam to engage enemies constantly in order to stop the PLA from pushing all the way into the village. After the first initial pushes, fall back into the village and wait for the flanking maneuvers that the PLA will try. You can camp if you want to. Also, the mission is extremely hard to complete if you lost any of the Amphibious assault vehicles to mortar strikes or Anti Tank teams in the first part of the mission. Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is the successor to the hugely popular original. While developed by a different team, the ethos behind the game is much the same. One shot can kill you, and, if on the higher difficulties, it will send you all the way back to the start of what may have been a one-hour-plus length mission. Codemasters' game features a large map, Skira, and tons of vehicles and weaponry to use in accomplishing your objectives. It also boasts a full co-operative mode and adversarial multiplayer.
